Case Study · Creator Activations & Live Streaming

300+ creators streaming. An entire block.

How MemeHouse ran a nonstop, multi-property creator activation at Coachella — over a custom-built network spanning 9 houses and a full city block in a zero-signal desert environment.

Client Overview

A pop-up media network in the desert.

MemeHouse is one of the most talked-about creator activations during Coachella — bringing together hundreds of influencers, streamers, and content creators for nonstop, real-time content production.

From live streaming and social posting to collaborative content across multiple properties, MemeHouse operates more like a pop-up media network than a traditional event. The connectivity has to behave like a permanent installation — except it has to be built from scratch in the middle of a saturated desert valley.

The Challenge

300+ creators. One block. No usable signal.

At Coachella, MemeHouse faced one of the most extreme connectivity environments imaginable — saturated cellular, no usable consumer internet, and a need to support continuous high-bitrate live streaming across an entire neighborhood of houses and outdoor spaces. This wasn't a Wi-Fi deployment — it was building a temporary high-performance network across an entire desert block.

01 / DENSITY
300+ creators streaming live

Hundreds of simultaneous live streams running nonstop across the activation — every device demanding sustained, high-bitrate upload performance at the same time.

02 / DEAD ZONE
Zero usable cellular signal

Every cellular network across the block was fully saturated. Venue and consumer internet options were nonexistent or insufficient. There was no infrastructure to lean on.

03 / FOOTPRINT
9 houses + outdoor spaces

Coverage required across nine separate properties and the full outdoor block — a multi-property mesh, not a single venue Wi-Fi job.

04 / MOVEMENT
Constant indoor ↔ outdoor flow

Creators moving between houses and outdoor spaces while streaming — every transition a potential dropped session, re-auth delay, or stalled feed.

The Solution

A multi-property network, built from scratch.

MyEventWiFi designed and deployed a high-density wireless network spanning the entire MemeHouse footprint — engineered specifically for sustained, upload-heavy live streaming across nine houses and a full outdoor block. No existing infrastructure to lean on. We built it.

01 / Footprint

9 houses + full block coverage

A custom-built unified network spanning every MemeHouse property and the full outdoor block — seamless coverage across indoor and outdoor environments as a single network.

02 / Density

High-density AP deployment

Strategically placed access points engineered to support hundreds of concurrent live streams without congestion, saturation, or session drops.

03 / Backhaul

Upload-optimized backhaul

High-capacity backhaul tuned for sustained high-bitrate upload performance — engineered around live streaming workloads, not casual browsing.

04 / QoS

Live-video traffic prioritization

Advanced QoS rules prioritized upstream bandwidth for live video to keep streams stable, high-quality, and uninterrupted across every property.

05 / Roaming

True seamless roaming across properties

Creators moved freely between houses and outdoor spaces — no disconnects, no stream interruptions, no re-auth delays. One network, nine properties.

06 / Operations

Rapid deploy + live optimization

Fully operational network built from the ground up in a signal-dead zone — continuous monitoring and tuning throughout the event by on-site engineers.

When connectivity doesn't exist, we build it. By unifying nine properties into one network and tuning every layer for upload-heavy workloads, we delivered a temporary deployment that performed like a permanent installation.
— Why it works
The Result

An always-on content engine.

MemeHouse operated as a fully connected, always-on creator activation — capturing and sharing moments in real time, with no limits and no fallbacks. Hundreds of streams, nine properties, one block, one network.

300+ creators
streaming live simultaneously across the activation
9houses
unified into a single seamless roaming network
0cellular
reliance on saturated, unusable carrier networks across the block
100%
stream uptime — no major interruptions during continuous live activity
Hundreds of simultaneous live streams ran without degradation, dropped frames, or stream interruptions across the full footprint.
Stable connections in a zero-signal environment — no usable cellular or consumer internet to fall back on, and it didn't matter.
Seamless movement between houses while streaming — creators roamed nine properties without breaking a single live feed.
Consistent performance indoor ↔ outdoor — the same upload speed in the back of a house, on the front porch, or out on the block.
Built from scratch in days — a temporary deployment in a saturated desert environment that performed like a permanent install.
Always-on content engine — creators never had to think about the network. They just shipped content nonstop, in real time.
The MyEventWiFi Difference

When connectivity doesn't exist, we build it.

We specialize in upload-optimized, multi-location deployments — engineering temporary networks that perform like permanent installations, in environments where no usable infrastructure exists.

Multi-location network deployments

Unified networks across multiple properties, indoor and outdoor — engineered as a single coverage zone, not patched-together hotspots.

High-density creator environments

Built for hundreds of concurrent live streamers — sustained throughput, no client saturation, no shared-channel collapse.

Upload-optimized for live video

QoS, backhaul, and AP architecture all tuned around upstream-heavy workloads — not the typical browsing-first event Wi-Fi.

Rapid deploy in dead zones

Built for the show floor. Proven in the desert. Fully operational networks deployed where no usable infrastructure exists.
